The 5x5 square is used to symbolize 25 of the 26 letters in the English alphabet. The center (13) is a combination of overt M and hidden (or silent) N, thus: MaN. Scarecrow's gematria is centered by MaN, who is traditionally assoc. with the number 5 (5 senses, 5 appendages). It has to do with the glyph A-L MaN O-Z that I use on occasion, symbolized by the visiting "aliens" Alma and Noz, or ALMaNOZ. Basically 1/2 of the gematria is female (Alma) and 1/2 male (Noz). Also, through DSOTR, 1/2 is Kansas/Earth and 1/2 Oz...according to the nifty split of the movie by the two album sides of DSOTM. MaN is potentially green and in-between. The yellow down aspect of man is his tendency to remain oblivious of things outside the Circle of DSOTM. This makes the world seem a painful and meaningless place to live, as described in the lyrics to the album. The GREENUP side of MaN is his ability to see beyond the Circle of DSOTM (1) into the Circle of Oz (1 + 1, or 2). This creates a mirror for MaN...he is able, for the first time, to comprehend to some degree the entire cycle. The hidden becomes manifest. Here, time and space begin to loose their rigidity. And one must not only deal with 2ness, but, behind it, 3-4-5 (and the rest). But he must initially step from 1 to 2 to see any of this.
According to Scarecrow's hypothesized TILE philosophy on which he bases his gematria, there are three types of soulmates to any one person. There are background or neutral soulmates (value=26), which form pointillistic contacts. There are 2ndary soulmates (value=26), which complement the main flow and which form line interfaces. And then there are the primary soulmates (value=26) which follow the main gematria flow and form a planar connection. Your own soul is a cube. Each of these soul connections -- primary, secondary, neutral -- are equally necessary. However, you may have millions of pointillistic interfaces, while only a handful of a planar nature.
Scarecrow's whole psyche is embedded in the 5x5 square of Mars. His central search is to find the MaN inside of him, the human soul (as depicted in his Kansas film double Hunk from the Onedia cube). However, this search is directly linked to the love affair between Alma and Noz, who are the primary soulmates in The Rainbow Sphere. Alma represents the manifest center (M), while Noz is the hidden aspect (N). When they unite at the end, Scarecrow is also fulfilled.

Hohoho...well, none of it! Despite seeming appearances to some, I've never indulged in any psychotropic drugs. May have smoked a tiny bit of weed back in my undergraduate days in the '60s, before I had to really buckle down in graduate and post-graduate school. But that's it. Yes, the meetings still take place (it's GREENUP (yellow down) by the way), but there's always only been 3 members: baker b., BIKER G., and myself. Another professor from my University attended for a couple of sessions, but decided not to participate regularly. If you don't remember, BIKER G. is baker's brother-in-law. No kin to me though. Our mutual interests are Dark Side of the Rainbow, synchronicity, and aliens. BIKER and I are the core of the group; baker attends when he can. The group began in the Winter of 1997, and stems from some rather incredible personal discoveries by all 3 of us within the parameters of Dark Side of the Rainbow (which became popular that past summer). These ultimately pointed to a hypothetical being code named Brainard (or Brainerd) who, we speculated, could have been the (e.t.) source for DSOTR. This associatively led to the other aliens: Prince Rupert, Alma and the lot. The connected name GREENUP has a convoluted source which I won't go into. However, it was referred to in my Circle of Oz posts (or will be).
So, boiling it down, the club is about tracking down the superslick alien sons-of-bitches who created Dark Side of the Rainbow and some other incredibly odd, seemingly related dojigees.

Hey Booker! It seems that the Rainbow Sphere posts don't appear when many people visit your site. Or in some cases they appear in a 3rd tier of posts that is left incomplete. Thus the confusion of some of the questions you answer here to my friends (the Oz gematria question above springs to mind). How the hell'd you do this. Do you have several basically duplicate web sites running at once?
Thanks for writing Tina-of-Dawn! (I'm just going to go along and pretend you're not the same person who just wrote to me...haha.) Just to clarify, The Rainbow Sphere is a combination of 2 separate spheres, making a 3-D Vesica Piscis (I think that's capitalized...have to check sometime). This is like the magic eye pictures that have become popular in many U.S. newspapers. Each half is an eye which, focused together, create a mystical and holographic 3rd eye. The Rainbow Sphere is the key to it all, the nexus of the deep dark synchronicities protected and guarded by the 4 Pink Floyd (sub-)synchronicities of the New Millennium (one for each direction around it). It is the Red Star (Ant Ears) that contains all other colors (Orange Star, Yellow Star, etc.).
To answer your question, The Rainbow Sphere, because it is so illusive, tends to easily shift around our value polarized world, hiding first in black and then white. This is because it is part of both you see, how it was designed. Some people are not ready for the truth revealed in the Sphere; they would become blinded. It is, of course, also illuminating (all illuminating, in fact). It reveals itself only when people are ready. I have no control thus where it appears in my posts, if anywhere.
I am not at liberty, however, to tell how I pulled off this trick, except to say that it was done by a computer wiz named Willard B. McIntosh, who lives at 325 Hawthorne Rd. in Citronelle, Alabama with his wife August and their two dogs Sid and Vicious. He also deals some mean black jack at a nearby riverboat casino and is the author of the the yet unpublished, John Gray inspired Lambs are from Rams, Ants are from Pants.

I only want to be known in correspondence to the value of what I have to say relative to my time. I understand the decision of gathering fame rests in oneself, but it depends on an (often erroneous) value judgment. Most important is to remain true to your creativity, don't damage the source springs. L. Frank Baum, for ex., I think was damaged by his need to aquire popularity through the theatre, although stage versions of his books were much weaker creatively in comparison. Granted, this led to the resolving '39 Wizard of Oz movie, but only after Baum's death and then only after much trial-and-error experiments in the medium. Baum, however, definitely had a hand in the making of the movie (see: Baum coat synchronicity linked to Rainbow Sphere Post # 18). In death, however, the full benefits would only be received during the creativity of the next incarnation, or the kicking in of the energy of the next time-line probable self.
