The 3rd Corruption:
Creation of Dark Side of the Moon
The last corruption
of the Matrix Circle represents the creation of Pink Floyd's 1973 classic
album Dark Side of the Moon. This returns the Circle of Oz back to the
Circle of Floyd through the backdoor so to speak. DSOTM is the fruit of
the Circle of Oz, the 3-D Solid (Cube, Tetrahedron, etc.) fulfilling the
density of matter. The (required) affected hemisphere this time is one
not directly depicted in the Matrix Circle. It comes from the 3rd pair
of Matrix Cube faces that remains out of view in its translation to two
dimensions. However, they are implied through the dark gray areas of the
Matrix Circle below:
Notice now
that the circle is divided equally into 4 differently shaded areas, symbolizing
the fixed aftereffects of each corruption. Unfortunately we cannot complete
the circle by altering the two row numbers (2 3/4 & 3 1/4) of this
4th, darkest area. I have therefore left them in shadow font. However,
we can safely assume that they will be increased or decreased by some value
assoc. with 1/8th, a value that cannot be broken down into smaller integers
(thus 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8 and so on). Whatever the specific numbers, we,
once again, must double the governing laws from 32 to 64 in order
to understand all resulting row ratios.
These laws can be encompassed
by the checkerboard-like 8x8 square, or what we can call the 64-Square.
This square is the basis for the Chinese philosophy of I Ching and
its 64 hexagrams. It's also the form of the Magic Square of Mercury. The
total numbers in the Mercury square equal 2080, or the sum of 1 through
64. This is closely related to 1080, the number found in the diameter of
the moon (1080 miles), the atomic weight of silver (108), and many other
lunar archetypes. In essence, it represents the form of things, matter,
solidity, embodiment...entrapment of abstract concepts in 3-D solids to
make them useful.
Trapping the Wild Triangle
Form without spirit,
however, remains nonfunctional. A spark of life is needed to set
the now fully corrupted Matrix Circle in motion, like lightning for the
Frankenstein cadaver. If form is the Moon through Mercury (64-Square),
it follows that the spark must come from the Sun (36-Square). This time,
however, the moist Moon provides a cool and safeguarding vessel for the
white hot light. MoNster becomes MaN through MooN (Illinois), and what
could devolve into an incredibly dangerous Triangulosaurus is instead trapped
inside the circular confines of our corrupted Matrix Circle. There it manifests
only through the 3 aforementioned Gurdjieffian-style shocks, small yet
critical pauses in the overall cycle found after DSOTM songs 3, 6, and
9 (Note: 9 here = 9 & 10).
In the Matrix Circle,
these 3 shocks must be balanced by a vacant 4th, like a dummy hand in Bridge.
The resulting square can be seen as follows:
The 4 shocks above
tell us much about the corrupted Matrix Circle. We can see that the two
shocks in the N. Hemisphere lie on the borders between its numerically
fixed areas (1/4th and 1/8th based nos.), while the two in the S. Hemisphere
lie in the middle of its two fixed areas (whole and 1/2 nos.). These
shocks represent the 3-fold triangular perfection of Echoes-Contact-2001
fitted into a square (cube), as entered through shock no. 1. This is, in
fact, the only way that DSOTM can receive this energy: by uploading it
into the next highest form.

with each shock are as follows:
1st: Birth of DSOTR/Birth
of DSOTYS/Death of Nowhereland in DSOTYS
2nd: Death of Witch
in DSOTR (end of death in Oz series)

+ 1/2: Birth of Oz & Munchkinland in DSOTR)
3rd: Death of Oz in
DSOTR
(3rd
+ 1/2: Death of Munchkinland in DSOTR)
4th: Death of DSOTR/Birth
of Nowhereland in DSOTYS
As one can see, we
must include the synchronicity Dark Side of the Yellow Submarine here to
understand the full implications of the matrix shocks. This demonstrates
that the 2 parts of DSOTR (or 2 parts of the double album DSOTM), must
work in tandem to set the corrupted Matrix Circle in motion. Yet there
are many questions left unanswered in this diagram. How can the Witch die
before Dorothy reaches Oz?. How does Oz end in the exact center of the
Oz county of Munchkinland? I'll leave such seemingly nonsensical
questions alone for now, as they are not that easily answered. I would
like to point out, however, that DSOTYS's Nowhereland corresponds exactly
to 1 of the 4 fixed areas in our corrupted circle. It fills the area beyond
(the death of) DSOTR, where the effects of the 4th shock are felt.
A New Beginning
The terminal form of
our corrupted Matrix Circle must be seen as spinning, like a generator.
The internal combustion, the former Triangulosaurus or 3 headed serpent-monster,
is sexual desire transmuted into 3rd eye awareness, blinding and enlightening
at once. Shades of black and white end here, as all is ignited in red.
It is the Red Sun-Star that begins the new millennium.
