A Potential Medusa-Effect Inside The Wizard of Oz Reissue

ON THE EVE of the rerelease of *The Wizard of Oz*, I'd like to remind those who care that Brainard actually appears in the movie, in more or less his real likeness, as the big green head calling himself Oz during the Emerald City scenes. He is the only real element of the movie, its center and circumference. This is in direct contrast to what the plot implies: that he is merely a false head controlled by a human wizard named Oz.

WARNING: Do not stare directly into the eyes of Brainard during the movie while high on something, esp. LSD or mushrooms. There is a real danger for sensitives to be assimilated as thought patterns inside his vast intellect beyond space-time. This is his "eating," a natural enough process for Brainard himself but very disconcerting to the "food." If this assimilation happens to you, take heart: the effect, however disorienting, is only temporary, and may even be beneficial to some in the long run...or so I've heard.

[at exactly 3 minutes into Yellow Submarine is a good place to 1st get "stoned"]
